These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of cardsinspired.co.uk (the “Website”) and any purchases you make from Cards Inspired (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Website and/or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

2) Eligibility and using the Website
- You must be able to enter into a contract under UK law to place an order.
- You agree not to misuse the Website (including attempting unauthorised access, introducing viruses, or interfering with site operation).
3) Products and descriptions
- We try to ensure product descriptions, photos, prices, and availability are accurate. However, images are for illustration and colours may vary by screen.
- If a product is personalised, you are responsible for checking spelling, names, dates, and all custom details before placing your order.
4) Prices and payment
- Prices are shown in GBP (£) unless stated otherwise.
- Prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect orders already accepted.
- Payment is taken at the time you place your order.
- We accept payment via Stripe and PayPal. We do not store full card details.
5) Placing an order and contract formation
- You place an order through the checkout process.
- You will receive an order confirmation email. This confirms we’ve received your order, not that we’ve accepted it.
- A contract is formed when we send you an email confirming the order has been accepted/processed (or when we dispatch your items).
We may refuse or cancel an order if:
- the item is out of stock,
- we cannot authorise your payment,
- there is an error in pricing or product information,
- we suspect fraud or unauthorised activity,
- you have provided incomplete/incorrect details.
If we cancel after you’ve paid, we will refund you.
6) Dispatch and delivery
Dispatch time
- We aim to dispatch orders within 1–2 working days.
- Dispatch times are estimates and may be longer during busy periods (for example, seasonal peaks). If there is a significant delay, we will contact you.
Delivery (UK)
- Delivery options, costs, and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout.
- Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.
Delivery (International)
- We offer international delivery to selected destinations (as shown at checkout).
- International delivery times are estimates and may vary due to customs processing and local carrier delays.
- Customs, import duties, local taxes, and handling fees (if applicable) are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in our prices unless stated otherwise.
Delivery addresses
- You are responsible for providing a correct delivery address. If you notice a mistake, contact us as soon as possible at mail@cardsinspired.co.uk. We cannot guarantee changes once an order has been processed.
Risk and ownership
- Risk (responsibility for the goods) passes to you upon delivery.
- Ownership passes to you once we receive full payment.
Undelivered / returned parcels
If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect/incomplete address, refusal, or failure to collect, you may need to pay additional postage for re-delivery.
7) Cancellation rights (Consumer Contracts Regulations)
If you are a UK consumer buying online, you usually have the right to cancel within 14 days of receiving your goods and receive a refund.
Important exceptions — personalised goods
You do not have the right to cancel for change of mind if the goods are personalised or made to your specification (for example, a card printed with a custom message, name, or design choice), unless the goods are faulty or we made an error.
To cancel an eligible order, email mail@cardsinspired.co.uk with your order number and your request to cancel.
8) Returns and refunds
A) Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items
If your item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you have legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Please contact us at mail@cardsinspired.co.uk with:
- your order number,
- a description of the issue, and
- photos where helpful.
We will offer a replacement or refund as appropriate.
B) Change-of-mind returns (non-personalised items only)
If your item is not personalised and you cancel within 14 days:
- you must return the item within 14 days of telling us you want to cancel,
- items should be unused and in original condition/packaging where possible,
- return postage is paid by the customer, and
- we refund the product price and the cost of standard outbound delivery (where the law requires).
Refund timing: Refunds are made to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned goods (or evidence of return).
C) Personalised items
Personalised or custom-made items are non-refundable for change of mind, unless faulty/damaged or incorrect due to our error.
9) Promotions and discount codes (if applicable)
- Discount codes must be applied at checkout and cannot usually be applied retrospectively.
- Promotions may be withdrawn or changed at any time, unless you have already placed an order using them.
- Codes may have expiry dates and usage limits.
10) Intellectual property
All content on this Website (including images, text, logos, designs, and graphics) is owned by or licensed to Cards Inspired and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content without permission.
11) Reviews and user content (if applicable)
If you submit reviews, comments, or other content:
- you confirm it is accurate (to the best of your knowledge) and not illegal, abusive, or infringing,
- you grant us a licence to use, reproduce, and display it for Website and marketing purposes.
12) Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for:
- death or personal injury caused by negligence,
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to the above:
- We are not liable for losses that are not foreseeable.
- If you purchase as a consumer, we are not liable for business losses (e.g., loss of profits, revenue, contracts, or business interruption).
- Our total liability for any claim relating to your order will not exceed the total amount you paid for that order.
13) Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control (e.g., postal disruptions, extreme weather, strikes, supplier delays, outages).
14) Privacy
Your personal data is handled according to our Privacy Policy on the Website.
15) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on the Website at the time you place your order will apply to that order.
16) Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory local consumer laws in your country apply.
